The Department of Justice in 2025 has terminated hundreds of grants for domestic violence prevention, victim services and justice programs nationwide — including more than $1 million intended for Arizona agencies, according to the Council on Criminal Justice. These cuts have affected victim-services programs, as well as community safety and law enforcement training.
