Maricopa County started mailing ballots to voters on Oct. 9, the first day of early voting in Arizona. State law dictates that mail ballots may not be sent earlier than 27 days prior to the election.
The last day to register for a mail ballot is Oct. 25. Voters have until Oct. 29 to mail their ballots back, or voters can return them to ballot boxes or Vote Centers up until polls close on Election Day.
